gearshift pin

i have a hybrid major that (i have been told) is halves of 2 different tractors. the gearshift lever housing has the remains of a pin that fit into a slot in the lever, so the lever couldn't spin around. is that pin available? i can find a super major parts breakdown on the New Holland website, but SM has a different shift housing. thanks.

Go to your local nuts and bolts store and see if they have some dowel pins that might fit.

If they are totally odd, a machinist can grind one down to fit.
