trying to split super major to install transfer case I got tractor to split about 3 inches an cannot get it to come rest of away apart any idea what the problem is thanks tim

Are you trying to split at the clutch housing or the rear axle?

axel housing im switching roadless conversion from a mutt fordson to a 64 super major got front axel switched now trying to switch transfer case contact #814-285-1148 would like to talk to you if possible thanks tim

If it is the clutch housing you may have a seized pilot bearing which is stuck to the input shaft and will not come through the clutch plate. You need to move her apart as far as you can then undo the bolts on the pressure plate to get that off the flywheel, then she will part.

If itis the rear axle housing. Have you taken the gear lever off and removed the selector socket the lever fits into? Have you got the PTO out and the lower housing on the gearbox off? There is nothing other than these parts that would hang up.
