injectors

i have a fordson major 1957 model there is no leakback on any of the injectors so fitted new tips nl 123 simms injector and vacum pump running about 80% better shifted injectors around number 4 seems to be the culprate took head off and did valves jest waiting for gaskets the pump is next what do you think any advice welcome spannerpete

Return type injectors will have very slow leak off when working correctly, fast leak off is NOT what you want to see at all..

thanks for your reply as i said 4 seems to be faulty simms vacum pump is it worth me looking at the pump served my time on these in1965 5yrs apprenticeship never had much to do on the pumps jest clutches handbrakes cylinder heads memory is not so good 67yrs old thanks spannerpete

right lads needing imformation fordson 1957 fitted with simms vacum pump the number of pump that is on tractor is SPE4A70S380. I have another pump but the numbers are differant the numbers are SPE4A70S380 will this do my fordson all help will be greatfully recieved spannerpete
