I have a 1959 Fordson Delta tractor that I'm having issue with the lift.
It's stoping about half way up and want lift all the way up. I purchased the tractor about a year ago and was working mostly, that is I would have to raise the lift twice to get it to life all the way up.
I finally used the PTO to do some bush hauling, and when I was done, i noticed that the lift would not lift all the way up.
I checked the real axle fluid level which was very low, so I added hydraulic fluid (5 gallons). That didn't help the issue, so I've been trying to figure out if bleeding the system would help.
I orders a manual "Fordson Major Instruction Book", which didn't provide any helpful details on my specific Hydraulic system.
Any info on how or what I need to do to get to the cause of this issue would be greatly appreciated!
