Fordson major

Hi everyone,

I have a 1960 Fordson power major and ive two queries;

1 - can I fit a power-steering kit onto it and,
2 - My major has no live drive,(I think this is the correct term) which is crap when topping or doing anything that needs 3 point linkage moved when the clutch is pressed. Is there any way I can convert it so that I can have the pto running whenever the clutch pedal is pressed or partly pressed?

Fordson Majors were offered with power steering. There's a pump
advertised in the Classified Ads above left. I believe I have the
whole set-up, but don't know its working condition.

If you have live power,it should be obvious by the hi-lo shifter.
If Hi is up, it's Live clutch. Otherwise, it's a lot of work to install the dual clutch.
