Thrust washer

Hi everyone, got hooked to restore my 1957
diesel fordson major. However I have a
problem sourcing a thrust washer for the
camshaft.camshaft . it's a horse shoe type.
Any help appreciated!! Material seemed to
have been selflubricating to some extend.
When i took apart motor thrush washer was in
bids and pieces.

Try this site. Just looked up Ford and they have thrust washer kits. Might be what you are looking for.

Thank you for replying. But I can't seem to find a link or I simply don't know yet how to operate this forum.
if it is a thrust washer kit it seems it might be for the crankshaft though and not the camshaft as it only has one.

Go to the bottom of the page where you replied to me. You will see a box on the left that says Tractor Parts, click on that and it will take you to the parts section. If that don't work for you, call- 1-800-853-2651, that will get you their parts people. There should also be a section at the top of the main page that says something about tractor parts that will take you to the parts section.

Thank you for your patients . Found it now . it's a set for the crankshaft unfortunately not the thrust washer I was hoping for.
seems nobody is selling those, strange really as all other parts are available....

Thank you major man! ! I found now in the mean time "old 20 tractor" parts and ordered a thrust washer for 24 pounds, also in GB ☺ nodding here down under baahh

Are you in Australia? Contact the Fordson Tractor Club of Australia. Really nice people and they have lots of contacts for spares etc.

I will be coming over in 2017 for the Ford Australia Celebrations they are organising.
