Have a Fordson Dexta that has a fuel issue. It had sat for a year or more, we got it running, but noticed the oil was over full. Changed the oil and thought we would narrow down the culprit between the lift pump and the injection pump. We ran it for a while with no change in the oil level. We parked it overnight, go to start it today and it is hydralocked. Oil level in pan is still good, but we pulled an injector and there is fuel on top of the piston. What could cause this?? Injectors pump or return?
(It cranks good and carries good oil pressure with a manual gauge).
