Hi All,
Continuing to push this girl in the cold (sub 0) and heavy heavy snow. Tire chains installed this week made quick work of the road, and the engine seems to like the work.
To the point: I have noticed that if don't get to a ignition on a crank cycle (hard cranking-- even w/ heat to the engine for 2-3 hours in these temps) the starter stops with almost a "whining" noise. This is a recent occurrence, before if it didn't quite take it would stop turning, and I would need to throw a battery charger back on the unit.
Does this mark the end of the starter?
Thoughts?
Thank you!
E
