Fordson barn find

Found Fordson owner says is 1917, steel all around says it runs and drives. Has original coil box marked Fordson on cover. Been shown last year, what would it be worth?

It's unlikely to be a 1917. You'd better be a little better informed. Lots of these tractors were built and rebuilt and had various parts added over the years. You can buy many hobby tractors in the $2500 range. If it's genuine original Fordson (no name) built for WWI aid to England, it could be the envy of some other collectors. Take a look at some of the videos and see if you want the struggle of starting one. If you want an improved version that looks the same, go for a 1936-1938 English Fordson which can be found in Canada and US. Some industrials had a
casting that allowed electric starters, but I've
never seen one. Rubber tires could be fitted which allows driving in parades.
