So we dug this old girl out of the barn and the pic is on the way home.. The serail No is plain to see and comes up as built in the first few months of production in 1945. Engine turns easily.but it might be a little bit uncomfortab.e We'll see. Mike

Looks like it only needs a cleaning and it's ready to show. Very good reference tractor. Is there a story behind (pun) the seat problem?

No. No known story it seems to have just rusted through and fell off However we have always had our share of larger folks??<Its now repaired and ready to go back on.I am undecided what to do. I have the time to do a full resto so who knows.. br>Mike

Hi. I took the Magneto off, cleaned and set the points. Cleaned and set the spark plugs. Poured a little petrol in each cylinder-turned the handle and it fired up on the fifth compression. Obviously only ran for about 5 seconds. One of the lower core plugs is leaking. So progress!!! Mike

Where in Canada are you? I have one on display in the Agricultural Museum in Stifling Ontario, and there was one in the museum in Austin Manitoba. Here is a link to a picture of mine, if the link doesn't work just search E27N in tractor photos it under 1945 E27N.
