Super Major Injection Pump

Hi Fordson people; looking for some help. I have a Super Major that needs the injection pump removed/reinstalled. I have R&R a lot of pumps but not one of these. Can someone give me some pointers for correct timing? Thanks
 
Which pump is fitted. It would normally be the MINIMEC with mechanical governor. However my details show that some of the very early models still used the Vacuum type governor(I can't verify that) If its the MINIMEC I will type up the instructions direct from the manual for you. Mike
 
Hi Mike
You are correct on either pump depending on age. I have an early blue orange super here now with vac governor and in the past, have owned a few more.

Thanks for the input....not at the shop now but believe it to be a Simms pump with pnuematic throttle if that helps, B.
 
A guy called me several years ago about timing a Pump for a Fordson diesel. I checked and there were several different models and they were not all timed to the same degrees either.
