The 3 point lift was working before it sat for a while and the hyd. oil drained to replace outer seal on the PTO shaft. From what I have read here it seems the screen may be plugged up or the system may need bleeding. Where is the screen located and where is the best place to try and bleed system from. The manual I have doesnt give any info. and what is the raised square under the seat area about 4"x5". It has a plug bolt on top and one in the front lower down??? any help appreciated

Screen is underneath above the drawbar and held in with four bolts. It has the drain plug in the middle of it. Just infront of the screen are two bolts that have magnets on them so remove and clean these too.

You do not have to bleed the hydraulics.

If the hydraulics do not work, first check that you have the PTO in gear. If the lift does not work after standing the problem is most likely a stuck unload valve which will mean the hydraulics will have to be removed and serviced.

thanks Majorman. How does one go about servicing the hydraulics? I assume its in the section under the seat. Is it just a mater of taking apart and cleaning etc? If so are there any NO"s and cautions I should be aware of.
thanks for the help
