I'm looking at getting a super major-- One thing I might use it for would be to pick up round bales with a spear on the 3 point hitch. Will the hydraulics on this tractor usually lift a bale that weighs 1400-1800 pounds? Thanks--

I have a 1963 Super major, with a front end loader that works off the internal hydraulics. I can lift approximtely 2000 pounds with the front end loader, so I would assume you can lift just as much with the back 3 point hitch, as it is the same pump running them.
