as I have posted before,my Fordson 5000 super major with simms minimec mechanical governed pump would sometimes all on it's own just rev up TO THE MAX!!! scared me into thinking it would blow up. tried seeking advice, changing oil etc. just had pump serviced here and the thing was that the dowel in the cam came loose and got caught up in the fly weight ball assy. Dave at new england injection service had never seen that before. but all fixed now and it runs really sweet
