I have a 1952 New major. I needed to change the oil in the differential/trans/hydraulic system. I gained valuable info here on the type of oil and tips as well as having the shop manual.
Everything went according to plan until I got to the point of refilling it. I have one cap right above the pto lever. I put 5 gal of oil in there and it's full but there is nothing in the differential or trans dipstick. I know the oil goes back there because when I flushed with diesel it Came out the back two plugs so what am I missing? I removed around 15 gallons as expected but now only 5 back in..
