Friend tried pulling injectors and he ended up removing the cap that's on top of injectors. Then he removed the inside bodies of injectors. OH NO!!! Is what I was thinking. I know better then this. He's not a very good mechanic to boot. He tries tho very hard tho. Oh well live and learn. Anyways, I need to know where to reset these inside bodies. The cap like I said threads onto the injector itself where the return lines bolt to the top which has a flat slot that accepts a flat blade screw driver. We got the engine unstuck which was at a minimum!!!! Little ATF and Marvel Mystery Oil WD-40 and some patients including very little time. It turns by hand using the fan without injectors bolted in place. Still won't turn over very good using starter. Any help as to the adjustments for those bodies or do we have to take them to a shop to get the pop off set correctly??? We tried pulling it to start it too. We had it started then it died. That was fuel related which was fixed. Then I think we burnt five gallons of fuel pulling it with my Dodge Cummins. Still no go!! Thanks. We're having a blast with the new to me oil burner!!!!

I have the shop manual for the engine on my computer and also have the fuel system manual on the computer both in PDF format. Reply to my email and I will send them to you, tried to attach the files to reply to your post but the files won't attach. I would suggest taking the injectors to a good shop and have them set up before trying to start the tractor.

Don't know if you're still having problems, but I had an issue with my Major Diesel where the fuel cut off mechanism was sticking inside the pump. You just take off the side of the pump and free it up, and be sure to get everything right in there. I had a screw riding inside there loose that bad backed out. Once I got it free, then put the rack all back in line, it runs like a top again.

If I could get the PDF files, I would appreciate it too. [email protected]
