Hi:

Not sure if the Dexta is the same, but on the MF135, there is a cap on the Hydraulic Lift cover, (right side when sitting on seat)with two bolts, with that cap off there is a pipe that connects to the pump below, Pipe has rubber o"rings and flat plastic washer at both ends, On my MF135, hyd"s stopped working, renewed the O"rings and the little flat plastic washers and bingo, I was up and running.

Hello John,

This seems to be a common thing with these tractors. It usually happens when you change the hydraulic oil or let it go low. You either have air in your system or the screen is plugged up. Sometimes you can just bleed the system and that will get your 3 point working again. Or you might have to clean your screen. There should be a bleeder plug on your hydraulic pump that you can bleed it from. You need to do this when your tractor is running. Crack it open until the air gets out. You need to move your lift arms up and down. If you have any questions, just reply or email me. Hope this helps. Bob

Oh, BTW, the little Super Dexta"s are very nice tractors. I had one for about 17 years.

can you point me to the location of bleeder plug.. is this external or internal. do you have a photo or image to show..any help is appreciated... THANKS

Hello John, I was not able to answer you yesterday as my internet was down due to a storm. I sold my super dexta several years ago, so I am not able to get any close up pictures of it. On the left side of your super dexta, right behind your PTO lever, there should be a round inspection cover. I believe it is about 4 or 5 inches in diameter. There are about 5 or 6 bolts that hold it on. Remove the cover, take a flashlight and look up in there. There should be a screen. Remove it and clean it out. The screen will not look real dirty. You can wash it off with diesel fuel and then blow it out with air. Most of the time, you can put the cover back on and you will not need to make a new gasket. If it leaks then you will need to make a new one. Make sure your hydraulic oil is filled to the proper level. The start it up and work the lift up and down. If it does not go up and down on its' own, have someone work it manually as you work the lever and see if that gets it primed. If that does not work, let me know and I will try to locate pictures to help you bleed the system. Please let me know if this helps you or not. Bob
