Split the Dexta and adjusted the PTO screws. Working fine now. Decided to check the injector timing on my 1961 FSM. With the flywheel set at the 21 degrees before tdc the mark on the injector pump is still about 30 degrees off with the adjustment as far as it can go. It seems as if the flywheel is correct watching the rocker arms. Could it be possible the shaft comming from the governer is in the wrong place? Looking for suggestions. The tractor ran before I began to retime the pump but it had little power and was knocking. The manual suggested checking the pump timing. I don't know where to go from here.

PS. I have the pneumatic governor so the seting is 23 degrees, but that won't make much difference.
