My Dad and I have a Super Major that has been sitting for 3 years. Everything was working fine when it was parked. It has been sitting this whole time with the old fuel in the whole system. Anyone have some recommendations on flushing the entire system? I want to do this only once and do it right! Thanks guys!

May start OK, or control rack can be stuck. Worked on 8600 Ford last summer that had set in a barn for 2 years, found rack stuck in off position. Removed side cover, used penetrating oil on plungers to free up. Changed pump oil, ran fine again.

Thanks, Dave! We got her running last weekend. All we had to do was pour in fuel, bleed the lines and charge the battery! No smoke or any issues! Just a shot solenoid and and mechanical starter switch on the start lever. Turns out the tank was left dry when parked and we had fuel all the way from the lift pump to the injector pump. Injector pump made a little bit of squeaking at first but quieted right down after a couple minutes. ALL GOOD!
