I think you mean 'Dorset'.
There was a 4-cylinder version in the Dorset series of Ford industrials. The only one I'm at all familiar with was 254 cubic inches, though I think there were other (older) versions as well. I have no personal experience, but have heard that the Dorsets will fit in the Fordson Majors/Super Majors.

Does it have the proper front engine mounts? You will need a tractor oil pan with the rear pivot for the front axle wishbone. Most marine engines would have water-cooled manifolds, which you probably would want to replace with tractor manifolds. Do you still have the engine that came with the tractor? Send pictures if you like.

I know about the Dorset too.Had a 6cyl in a Ford C600 truck I think it was a 360cu. in.and if it would have been the Dhegelman it would have been only 330 cu. in. I think the truck started out with the older smaller engine and was changed before we got it. We used it as a semi tractor for yard practice at the Diesel Driving School at Sun Prairie. It would run all day on 3 gal. of fuel. I had some of the 4cyl. that came out of Gardener Bakery trucks those were the Dhegelmans.A friend put 1 in a 37 Olds and ran it for a year or so.Both engines were built in England.
