guy at work got 1964 for sale $3000 tire chains back blade bushhog slipscope wundering good deal? i know about this model but wanted feedback from some folks who had them thanks

I have one which I have fixed up and use quite a bit.It is a very economical tractor. very good for using the implements you mention. The price depends on the condition. I like mine, wish it had power steering.

Power steering was never available for Dextas. Sure would have made a great option though.However "back in the day",power steering was condidered as frivolous and even if it had been available it would be "too darn" expensive.
In those days,as a rule of thumb,list price was $100/hp.
