Fordson Major ' Gas ' Value?

I have a Fordson Major 4 cyl Gas. Its running fine, looks in near stock condition. Everything seems to work other than some of the gauges. Anyone know what this might be worth? I used it last year to plow a few acers of feild and it worked fine (however for what it cost in fuel I could have paid a crew to do it with shovels ;-)
Anyhow, I am looking to sell it if its worth anything, but of course I am in just about exactly the center of Canada... Guessing not a lot of restoration going on around here. I will try and dig up the Serial # if someone is interested in it. However even if someone knows 'about' what it could be worth from bottom to top dollar would be nice. I have a few extra bits for it (Plow, 2nd front tire and rim that is larger desigined for plowing)

I bought a non-running FMD in Northwest Ohio for $900.00, nothing broke, just hadn"t been run in a long time. A little expensive, but it was nearby and I wanted it. I have never come across a gas engined one, but for the horsepower, in my area I would expect $2,500.

I base that on the going rate of gas powered Ford 800 at $3500 less buyer hesitation at rarity of model and scarcity of parts.

I bought one with a broken cam gear for under $1K, but also added shipping which doubled cost. Mine was a 1953. I'm planning to use the engine for another purpose. Don't know what to do with remains, put a 6 cyl in it? I bought my first "old major" in Saskatchewan and hauled it myself. Cost $250 back then in 1987. Had to add 4 new tires. Considering inflation, price hasn't gone up much, but tires have..

Thanks for the info, so... In the end, I am really just looking to get a backhoe attached to a 1960's David Brown that I have. (I would have to make all my own mounts I am sure) So I guess I am better off to try to 'trade' this Fordson Major rather than sell it right? Looks like at best I 'may' get $2000, and suspect $1000 is more realistic right?

I have a Fordson Major kerosene in mint condition. I suspect it too be a 1955 model. Any idea how much it would be worth? I have a scoop and grader that was bought with it years ago.
