simms governor adjustment

Hello,
Was wondering if there was any way to adjust the governor responce on the simms injection pump. It is on an industrial for engine that is the same as the one in a major.

The problem is that it idles too low when cold and too high when warm. Its on an aircompressor and I've adjusted the idle, but it stalls when going to idle because of the load. If I adjust the idle up it will work fine cold, but idle to high when warm and blow the air pop off valve when warm....

If you haven't already done so, make sure the air cleaner is clean with fresh oil etc. and that all the intake pipes are secure and tight. , and that all the suction connections to the diaphram are in good condition and tight.If you are very lucky just that might cure it MTF
