throttle

Have been using 53 fordson major and this a.m. started it and the throttle don"t work Seems the linkage going to thepump moves but no response. What may be the problem?

Sounds like the rack in the pump is seized. Dandy Dave!

Hi. Suggest you take the side plate off the pump and check if the rack moves when you move the throttle lever, with the engine running. if it does then you have a problem with either the diaphram or the spring. If not it could mean something simple like the front end of the rack has come apart for one reason or other MTF
