it has come to my attention that I could use a new set of injector lines. I made a repair several years ago on the #4 line and today it quit and of course sprayed fuel every where before I could get the tractor back to the shed. The day was exciting because my simms minmec tried to let the engine run away... twice. must need oil again. if I turn it off and restart thing are ok .. for a while must be the governor which is NOT vacuum on this tractor. so the question is - is agriline the only source for new fuel lines? thanks and what is the BEST way to see about the pump? it seems to get funky when the tank is low

The problem on the fuel line was that the Ferrel had not been installed correctly so many years ago as the pipe needs to extend beyond the ferrel just a little bit as with most other compression fittings. It had come loose before and i soldered it back on as pipe would not got thru as it should. when engine over revved, fuel pressure went up to the point that soft solder could not hold it anymore. So this time i filed the hole enough to let pipe pass thru slightly and brazed it on. I know this is short term fix but I couldn"t wait to get new fuel lines from agriline. On another note. just what is correct procedure for looking at the govenor on a Simms pump?

Well it seems that my fix wasn"t all that great. So I still need a number 4 cyl fuel injection line from the Simms Pump or at least the ferrule for that steel line. I could shorten it if I had a new ferrule. What was the name of that English supplier? The Texas firm said they MIGHT find one but have called them twice and they are searching around..... I think. That English guy had my stub axles for my Roadless Four Wheel Drive Thanks in advance
