3 point hitch will not work. Any idea where to find a break down for the seals ect? I believe the pump is working because when you actuate the handle the external hose moves but the lift does not.

I had a Dexta with the same problem, that corrected after I changed the filter in the bottom of the axle. It's made of a round metal [can-like]with a screen inside that was plugged by sludge. Check there to see if that's it.

Repeat from earlier post.
Filter will clogg and nothing works.
The hydraulic on a Dexta is under the top cover. About a one hour job to change the filter, and two if you let the fluid drain. Takes longer to take the seat off than the cover.
Do mine @ every three years now, put a new filter in. Located on R/S tube from housing under top cover- you can see with top off. Once top is off; loosen one bolt that holds tube, screw replaceable filter (@ $15) and (@ 5 Gl fluid). Replace tube. I filled mine by dumping it in to check plug level-then put the top cover back on.
Use a cherry picker at seat bolt to lift.
on scale 1-10 (10=hard), this is a 4.

What do you mean by plug level?? I know where the fill plug is but haven"t been able to tell about the level plug. Thanks for the other information.

He means he has the lift cover off and can see inside to the fill level plug. He pours oil in until he reaches this level.

Right, he is filling it through the top with the cover off. The actual fill plug is close to the same height as the cover on the system. If you filled it to that level it would be to the top, therefore over serviced. I"m looking for the location of the "check level" plug.

The fill level plug is on the left side behind the clutch pedal. It is a square plug. Do not remove the hex head bolt on the right hand side, it holds the oil filter on and you will have to take the cover off to replace the nut on the end of that bolt.

Found it. Thank you for the help. Was a little low on fluid. Topped off but lift still will not work. Guess it's time to take the cover off.
