The original subject was "Fordson Major Diesel blows oil".
Don"t know if anyone will remember the older post but the problem with blow by is solved. Pulled it apart and #3 and #4 cylinders had NO compression. The rings were welded to the piston and the pistons looked like someone had filed grooves in them. Consequently the exhaust was going down instead of out. One rebuild kit later and it runs like a top. I can"t imagine how much power it'll have now that it's a 4 cyl and not 2. Not a leak to be seen. Needless to say I"m pretty happy with the end result.
