The supers have disk brakes and that is what is pictured. The peddle that you see is the differential lock. The power major has shoe brakes and no differential lock. The Powers have the dash under the steering wheel like the super. The majors have the dash blow the fuel tank. Dandy Dave!

That is a Super Major! The numbers you show are not useful as they are the casting mould numbers and the same on all tractors. Look for a number staped under No.1 injector or a cast number like 3A30 or A30B. These are date codes and will tell you when your tractor was built.

I have a fordson major diesel (super?)tractor that I am going to sell.It starts and runs well.Metal is fair the rear tires are 90%.Is there a good market for it.I think if there are collectors that would be interested I would rather sell to them than to Burgh's, a local tractor graveyard. Any info appreciated. Thanks JIM
