I found these numbers on the engine of what I think is my fordson Super. EIADKN6015 and 1542827 can anyone shed some light on these numbers to help figure is this a super or a major. Also I am wondering is the hood bonnett for the super longer than the major? I recently purchased a gas tank and a hood bonnet for a major and once I confirm my tractor is a super then I will be willing to sell these parts for what I paid. |

Your engine number is for a Power Major according to the Ford records. Your picture shows outboard brakes again Power Major/Major not Super Major.

You do not have a Super Major according to the number you posted. To confirm, have you disc brakes, a dif. lock and Draft/position control hydraulics? If not you have a Power Major.

What are you going by on the numbers, and I do have disc brakes. What and where is the dif. lock and draft/position. Attached are two pics of the tractor. Thanks for your reply.

Odds are, if you can't find a differential lock then you have a Power Major. Super Major serial number start at 1575971 and end at 08D-976148-L
