ok I went out and took the block off that holds the injector lines,,
[those little hex screws are a pain],, I found that I had a broken spring on #4,, and a broken tab off of the valve on #1,, as well as #1 stuck up ,,,
could the #1 valve being stuck up restrict the fuel from getting to the others full strenght??
I now know why #1 wasnt getting fuel anyway,,
now I need to find a spring and a valve....
any one have a set laying around?? new or used would be ok,
or a place I can get them,, the number on the injector block is P 4596 --then 1A, thanks pat,,
I figure I cant do any more until I get these parts fixed,,k |

| If what you have is a Simms pump, I may have one that can be cannibalized if it comes to that. My email is open. |

| lonzo said: (quoted from post at 02:49:18 04/10/10) i had the same problem with my pump and i brazed the lever back together and works fine, You should see if the plunger slides up and down and turns freely befor you weld the broken part back on. i didn't want to spend any money at a pump shop and didn't have a thing to loose thats the reason i welded mine |
thanks lonzo, I was thinking that may be my next choice. I wasnt sure if it would work, but its good to hear from someone who has had good results,, it seems that may be the way to go, I appreciate it, pat |
