dexta filter

have a 1957 dexta diesel Im having trouble finding a replacement filter for the hydraulic system I have a purolater M.F. 178 that does not cross over at the parts store any ideas

No MF parts for the gearbox or hydraulics will crossover for a Dexta/Super Dexta. The replacement Hydraulic bypass filter has the CNH part number "E68GF9", might pay to go to your local CNH dealer.TSG.

Just picked up a Dealer spare.
My spare filter from CHN PN =
81800792

FILTER-MART CORP. P/N............... 28-0211
$8.70 plus the shipping

will be @ the same as the @15.47 at CNH dealer

I keep a spare, it needs changing between 200-500 hours of use. I was doing a lot of bush-hogging and found mine needed it in less @ 100 hours. But that was likely much harsher conditions than most Dexta's will see.

Hey guys, I have a 63 Super Dexta and I don't see a filter on this thing for the hydraulics. Where is it exactly?
