i am going to be removing halfshafts,what i want to find out is that once i remove the twelve bolts holding the housing on to back end does the the whole housing and halfshaft come out together or is there anything else i need to do
i would be very grateful for any help cheers.
 
Hey Steve,

In the manual the half shafts come off by removing the top plate under the seat and wrenching off the nuts that hold the shafts on. I have to replace my axel seals at some point and someone told me to replace the bearings at the same time. The manual explanes everything if you have not ordered one. Kerry
 
Hi guys I THINK you are crossing from Std N to Major on this one. Yep it was me that said about changing the bearings at the same time. But the Std N is a whole different ball game. Somwhere I think I've still got a manual for the N.(you're in luck I just found it). If so and you would like it, I'll copy the parts you need and send it to you. Hi Steve I got your email. I suggest that you contact the Old 20 Spares Co they are in Derbyshire 01332 792698 and purchase the Strandard N manual. Its only about £8.00 Plus the usual tax etc. MTF
