Here are some pictures of the backhoe that came with the Power Major I purchased from kennebunksawmill, as can be seen the lower boom, bucket and Cylinder are missing (apparently the owner prior to kennebunksawmill sent it off the have the cylinder rebuilt and failed to pick it up before the company that had it went bust and was liquidated).
I believe it is a Shawnee but can find no markings on it, the loader it attaches to is a Shawnee (Load Master I think).
I’m pretty sure I can get what I have cleaned up and functional but am unsure of the basic dimensions of the missing parts, if anyone has a backhoe similar to this one I’d be interested in pictures. I don’t see any problem in either finding something close and modifying it or fabricating the parts but need to know things like length of the boom and the offset of the rams from the pivot.
Has anyone seen a backhoe with 2 rams operating the lower boom like this one? I can’t find any pictures of anything like it.
