I am interested in the value of a fordson winch that was used for pulling oil wells. this winch is bolted on to the fordson

There was a tractor like this (Fordson Model F with mounted winch) advertised on "that other site" a few months back; the owner was asking $1000 but had no takers, and the ad lapsed.

That price was for an entire tractor. Not sure what the value of the winch alone would be, but I'd think it would be worth a couple hundred bucks to the right person, maybe a bit more. Just have to find someone who's looking for such a device.

You could try taking a picture of it and posting it in the Photo Ads gallery on this site. Worth a shot, anyway.

How about a pic??? Skagit took the rear wheels of lots of fordsons and made what we on west coast called Little Tuggers and were used as logging Donkeys is it one drum(spool)or two drum ???
