well, I got around to installing my new solenoid, and went to start her, I always had a slowwwww growl, well today the smoke got let out of the starter,
I pulled it out, and apart, oh man the gunk that was in there, I cant believe it started as long as it did,, plus one brush corroded in,,,
I have a few N series starters that work good, the casing/core looks the same except for the hot wire,,
is it the same or are my eyes deceiving me?
can I take the armeture out of the starters and switch them around so the correct rod for the super major is now in the N starter ?
I see the rebuild kits cover the fordson models and other ford models as well,,,
thansk pat
