super dexta hydraulic problems

hi there,

ive got a fordson super dexta in the workshop just now and am having a job getting the hydraulics going on it. neather the arms nor the external service are working. i opened the small screw on the top of the caseing behind the pull switch for the external service and oil pours out put none out the pipe. also the nut in the centre of the pump caseing i loosened and oil pours out of there also.what am i missing? is it common with the dexta to have problems with hydraulics?? would be a great help if someone would help me out as am not clued up with the dexta.

I recommend you google "fordson forum" and visit that site (Dexta) and the topic is covered. Its unclear as I read whether you have a draft lever position issue, you did not say. Also since your post was five days ago, you may have the S Dexta fixed.
