Sherman Major backhoe on Fordson Major tractor

I am posting this question on the Fordson Major site because I don't know where else to look. I have a Sherman Major Backhoe Model F8 on my Fordson Major tractor and would like to know how much it weighs. I would like to haul it and I would rather be proactive. ie not find out at a weigh scale after receiving a ticket for being overloaded, or renting a truck that was much larger than necessary.

The only site I have been able to find that mentions this model is one that wants to sell tractor manuals and all I really want is a round number estimation of the weight. I already know how much the tractor weighs.

Any help would be appreciated

I guess if you had a hydraulic portapower jack with a pressure gage, you could lift the tractor at each of the 4 wheels and add all the weights together.

Is it fitted with a front end loader as well.

Hi,

Yes it also has a front end loader on it. In fact if I take the loader frame and bucket off the front wheels hardly touch the ground. Like the best power steering but little traction to turn.
