Can anyone tell me why the kinston model L D vaporizer shoots gas out the side of it when I start cranking it over? I have tried adjusting float level And needle seem to be seating. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Al, Not sure what you are trying to say. If you have an original float it may be hardened or saturated and causing it to flood. Also you may have to lap the seat in to get the needle valve to seat properly. Where is the gas "shooting out"? Is there a gasket on the float chamber? Has this engine been run recently? This carb operates from manifold vacuum. If it only does it when you are cranking it may be a valve. If you have a intake valve stuck open it will push back into the carb. I'd try doing a compression test and go thru the carb again. Butch
