Super Dexta Clutch not engaging

My Super Dexta has the double clutch (live PTO) which was working fine until I used a topper. After this the transmission clutch failed, although depressing it feels the same as before, it is not engaging and the gears grate. I have the manual and have tried some adjustment but to no avail.
I am hoping this does not mean splitting the tractor, any advice please?

Is the high low shifter stuck in neutral. Try and see if when you push the clutch pedal all the way down, with the PTO engaged, does it stop. There are 2 groves on the flange, that holds the transmission and hydraulic housings. adjust your linkage so that the bottom of the clutch pedal is at the top line on the flange. Then push down the pedal. The bottom of the clutch pedal should be in line with the bottom line on the flange. If you can't get these to work, then you will have to split. You can get the discs, and rebuild the clutch your self.
Hope this helps.
Bruce.

Bruce,
Thanks very much for your suggestions, tried the things you said and still no difference, just thinking I may have to split, then tried stamping hard on the brake a few times when I grated into gear and that made the clutch engage! Its perfect again now, what a relief!
