Hello I was working on my tractor to replace the o rings on the power steering control valve. unfortunately when I took it apart it sort of fell apart befor I had a chance to look at how the little spool valves came out. can anyone tell me what is the correct configuration of these?

You aren't the first one.
I'll bet I've answered this question 40 times in the last 10 years.
Set the power block on the column and load it from the top.
Note the fitting on the top of the valve.
That fitting goes to about the 2 o'clock position.
Note the yellow pencil. That hole gets a special plunger horns up, then the two balls then a special plunger horns down.
The other holes get an ordinary plunger, then a spring, then another ordinary plunger.
