Need help in ID ing the front end loader on my Ford 3400. Pictures attached. I need a new hydrulic pump as the splines are stripped on mine.

Ford used standard SAE mount (No.2 I think), get the center to center on the bolts and pilot ring OD and if you know what your spline size and count needs to be and you'll have no trouble finding a pump. Anything with at least 22-25 GPM should work.

hank you. Does your loader pump have the inlet and outlet on a horizontal plane and a somewhat egg shaped flange on a vertical plane. My pump is square and is 3 layers. I have not been able to locate any numbers on it. When I tried to order a pump the number we came up with for a 730 loader is for a pump with the inlet, outlet and flange on a horizontal plane.

Also, I believe when it's time to replace a vane pump on a 730 loader a similar-spec gear pump is substituted and the hydraulic plumbing adapted. The most common substituted pump seems to be a Cross 50P027LBASB.

hank you. Is Thera place that is best to bleed the system. I replaced the shaft, seal and bearing in the vane type pump and loosened the out put line and I am not getting any movement.

hank you for the help. I was able to get the parts to rebuild my pump. I replaced th shaft, seal and bearing. I cracked the out put line tell fluid was flowing. Started the tractor and no response in the hydraulic system.
