How long should the top link be for my '64 4000?

They're normally adjustable, and you adjust them according to the equipment and job. Sometimes you need to make a piece of
equipment bite in more (shorten top link) or float more (lengthen top link).

Original top link length category 1 was 25" row crops were 23"

TSC has the standard length for about 20 bucks. I run it on my '63 2000 usually at about 27 inches......few of my implements are OEM so the "rule of law"
doesn't apply! I ran one on my 64 4000. They also have longer ones selling for 30 bucks. I have one of them on my 3910 which is Cat1-Cat 2 with extra
long arms like would be on a later model 4000.
