Now I have to ask more questions based on Showcrop's response.

What color are the starter/generator? Red?

Also, the lug nuts? I thought red!

Thanks for the help!

Yes red for starter / generator.
Lug nuts should not be painted at all.

Oops. I already painted them red. I see so many tractors with red lug nuts. That's a mistake????

Yes, it is a mistake if you are concerned about correct appearance. What you have to do is just picture what they would have done at the factory. Would you have paid someone to take the lug nuts out of the keg or whatever they came in and lay them out and paint them so that the assembly crew could scratch the paint all up when putting the wheels on?

I think in was more of a satin black than the gloss black. More people put the red seat cover on it anyway.
