Oil Filter Conversion Kit - where to buy

Hi there,
I was a member here some time back but for what ever reason, I had to register again. II have a Ford 600 wit that wretched canister filter and want to convert to a spin on one. I tried to purchase from this site but they wont accept a pay pal account that is not registered in the U.S....?? go figure.. I am in Canada and would like to know of a source for a quality conversion kit from a source that takes pay pal.. I have looked on Ebay but I am skeptical of the sellers - if I can get a kit made in the U.S., I would far prefer that to one made in China. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help and guidance appreciated. I have pretty much zero faith in this sort of critical hardware that is made off shore as I have had some not so pleasant experiences with that junk. My tractor is down ( can't get the canister to seal properly against the block ) and I need it for Fall mowing before the rains start. :D :D

I know Steiner tractor sells them and takes PAYPAL, not sure about the Canada part,
give them a call- 1-800-link_disallowed

I'm not sure if they ship to Canada, but try Steiner. They stand behind what they sell. This site won't let me add a link for them though so you'll have to google the words Steiner and Tractors without the and in the middle.

If you are using modern view, you may have to switch to classic
view to see Sean and Joe's posts. They mentioned a competitor
who's name is not allowed, so their posts don't show at all on
modern view. Just one of those things to get used to.

Thanks guys - I'll call them in the morning. I'd have happily bought from YT but for the Pay Pal rules. I wonder how much they lose in sales each year because of that? Thank you again.

Does anyone know if there are there any North American manufacturers of these conversion kits? I really do not want to buy an off shore unit - this HAS to fit and not leak and the reputation of Asian parts is more often than not questionable.

I bought mine off ebay for about $35 with free shipping. The ad doesn't show the Oring but it's in the kit. Add a Motorcraft FL-1A and you are good to
go. That filter fits a lot of Fords, cars, trucks and tractors of the era. WW stocks them.

Ha. I bought mine in 2016. Looks like the price has dropped......imagine that! This is the same exact topic I entered in the ebay search engine so you
should get the same results.

Wix makes a kit for the Ford cars, which
will probably work. It can be found in
their filter specification catalog at
traditional parts stores.
