Anybody have spindles off a 4400 or simaler industrial tractor kingpin style you want to sell the closer to michigan the better

He doesn't like to sell parts to you if you didn't buy the tractor from him but try Bob or John at Clark tractor in Fenton MI 810-629-9376. Has a LOT of N.O.S. parts as well as some salvage.

This site shows that same spindle as # S75076
FYI 420 uses the same spindle.
bought a s75076 spindle it is so light duty I refuse to use it I am sending it back

Not sure if the aftermarket spindles from here are lighter than the originals or if they installed a different axle under your tractor when they converted it to a fork lift.

Just Googled Master Craft, their still in business and started making forklifts in 76 using Ford power trains from 445, 545, 655 industrial tractors along with mast and steering axles purchased from other sources.
Not sure why yours is coming up as a 420, defiantly not a 4400 unless that's Master Crafts model number for the forklift.

So it looks like your forklift might not use a Ford tractor axle.
I suggest you find the Master Craft model tag and contact them to see what spindles you need.
Their web site list a contact number of 229-386-0610
Parts manager # 229-386-6243

i have talked to Master Craft they assured me it is a ford all the 4400-420-545-555 I have looked at have the same spindles as mine. as I have stated my numbers behind the starter indicate a 1978 ford 420 why it's a 1981 fork lift? Why it has 8 bolt wheels? Why the new spindle I received is so light duty? If I could post pics you could see for your self

where mine is cracked it is 3/4"=.750 thick the new one same place less than 1/2" thick .440 to be exact now do you understand my concern with the new one

Yes I can see by the photos, only thing I can guess is it being a aftermarket part it's not made to exact spec.
Don't see many spindles break there.

. Most likely the huge counter weight. this has an 8000 lb lift capacity not sure what a 420 weighs this weighs 11,500

That NH part number, 86566091, appears to still be available. Partspring.com claims to have 14 of them in stock, but they are asking a little over $700.00 a piece for them:

86566091 at partspring.com

New Holland has been doing that with parts that they decide to not make any more of. As the warehouse stock starts to drop low they raise the price until the last few are so high that only a dedicated restorer with enough money would actually buy it

If you can find any of the models listed below in a salvage yard, they all used the same spindle and one out there might have a good one that is a lot cheaper than $700.00.

340, 4140, 445, 4400, 3500, 550, 4040, 540A, 445A, 555, 655A, 340A, 535, 420, 340B, 555B, 545A, 450, 3550, 540B, 1801, 555A, 515, 4500, 5610, 7610O, 6410, 6610O, 5110, 6810
