ford 600 select o matic

i have a 1958 ford select o matic trying to change add transmission fluid.......what does it take and where is fluid fill hole? any help appreciated.

Fill/level plug is on the right side near footboard. Should be a square head pipe plug. Filling is easier if you install a street L in the hole.

Use quality oil that meats CNH 134D spec.

The correct name for the transmission is Select-O-Speed. Also, they never made a 600 series tractor with a Select-O-Speed transmission. That transmission didn't come out until after they stopped making the hundred series, during the production run of the '01 series, so it would be a 601 series tractor, not a 600.

I have a pump that takes the place of the lid of a 5 gal. bucket. The discharge tube tip fits in the hole nicely.
