Auction finds?

This was 10 minutes from my house and I did not hear about it until it was over. Ford 340 diesel went for $900. Makes me sick!

I think your referring to a different auction.
Last time I dove it NJ was more than a 10 minute drive from Ky.

A cousin when to the auction, talked to him today.
He said a couple of the tractors brough good money but most sold fairly cheap because they sold as non running.
Apparently the gentleman wasn't able to care for them and they hadn't been run in some time, some had rust in the fuel tanks, some that they had tried to start had stuck valves causing them to bend some push rods when they cranked them over so they quit messing with them and sold they as non running.
I'm sure that hurt the sold pretty badly.
The single wheel 901 brought $7000 and the 600 with 5 spd and power steering brought around $5000, it was said those two where pretty rare, the rest sold in the $1750-2500 price range.
The old Power Major with full set of weights brought $400, weights were worth that.
The running unrestored 861 with one arm loader brought $1400, the loader was sold separately for $150, he thought to the same buyer.

Bern the two 6000's brought $250 for the pair, complete one went for $150, incomplete one for $100.
