Finally got the axel rebuilt on my 641. Took some pics during the process. They show boring out the center hole after welding up the worn areas. Also shows the DOM stock I used for the new bushing and how the new pin fits inside it. You might also see how since the threads were wore out in the inner bolster I used a 1" bolt to "clamp" the bolster tight to the bushing. All new bushings and bearings in the spindles and hubs as well...as a side note, these were hard to find until I figured out they were the same as what's on a early 4000. Also as a side note, my local Menards started carrying Rust Oleum tractor paint in the rattle can and I really like it.
