I am trying to make heads or tails of this tractor ID. the numbers I have are
5F296
G0125
A111-084

Any idea from that what year it is? I am needing to replace the two stage clutch and would like to know what year it is. It has a European front grill on it.

Thank you for your held

If you are trying to order a clutch before you split it you are wasting your time. When I was at the dealer we could call down to engineering with the serial number and they could tell us just about anything, but NOT what clutch was in it. Yes you can get lucky, but unless you are picking it up locally where you would have no shipping involved you need to split it and see what you have. I made up a cheat sheet for myself that will help you get the correct one the first time. Your date code appears to be June '65, but all model numbers starting with "G" are large row crop tractors so you need to clean up the stamping better and recheck it.

5F296 looks like a production date but the 6 isn't right, look at it real close and see if it's a C instead
5 is the year, ether 65 or 75, does it have a vented hood or smooth hood
F should stand for June
29 is the date
If that 6 is a C it means afternoon shift

The A in the serial number means it was built in Antwerp, Belgium
