2120 hydraulics

My 2120 has a set of rear remotes controlled by a valve located next to the 3 point valve. I have a hydraulic winch that was set up as a fixed mount on the tractor. Needless to say it was a real pain to put on/off. Just finished rebuilding the winch so I can use the 3 point hitch to raise and lower, came out great- easy on/off but... When I plug into remotes I have to clamp the hydraulic valve on the tractor open so I can use the valve that is on the winch, this disables the 3 point lift. Not sure what to do here, I have to be able to power the winch in and out in order to let pressure off to freespool. The winch is driven with a hydraulic motor. Assuming the tractor valve is double action, could I plumb direct to hyd motor, bypassing the winch valve? Are there open/closed center issues here? As you can see I'm not much on hydraulics and appreciate any help!

There is a port on the RH side of the tractor down by the platform where the loader vale tapped into the system. You may need an adapter block, been a while. See if there is a loader valve install instruction sheet on the web, otherwise go to your local dealer (provided he was in business when those were new), and they should be able to dig you out one so you can see where it is.

I was assuming you had a 2120 compact, if you have a '63-'64 2120 then you do need a power beyond plate that goes between the remote valve ant the lift cover.

I dont know what youll pull but when some winches freespool without a brake they will rev up till they fly apart. BTDT
